We are an affiliate. We earn a commission if you register through our links, which is exactly why you should not take our word for anything on this site. So here is the working: every claim we make, the source behind it, the date we checked, and the ones we could not confirm.
01What we checked
What we checked, and what the source actually says
Each item below was read on the provider’s own pages on the date shown. Where the source says something narrower than the marketing does, the narrower version is what we publish.
One source needs a warning label
Several items below cite a partner presentation dated 7 September 2026, supplied to us as affiliate material. Most of its factual slides carry their own footer: “This slide is an independent team slide stating facts and figures derived from research.” The deck disclaims its own numbers, so we never present anything from it as established — only as an attributed claim or a dated capture. Its recruitment, commission and promotion slides are not used on this site at all.
- The 10% drawdown limitConfirmed at source
- The provider’s account rules state you “cannot exceed the 10% drawdown limit on Leveraged Accounts (Equity or Floating)”, calculated on the account’s initial balance. Checked 17 September 2026. Read the rules ↗
- Profits withdrawable at any timeConfirmed at source
- Stated as “withdraw all profits instantly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.” Availability in your own account can still depend on payment method and region.
- The 30-day wait, and what ends itConfirmed at source
- “The initial deposit or whatever remains of it can be withdrawn 30 days after the first trade is entered into the market.” The same page states that withdrawing that initial balance closes the account immediately, and that performing an upgrade resets the countdown. This is the detail most summaries of copy trading leave out.
- 12x is the documented tierConfirmed at source
- The provider’s public Amplify page advertises “12X The Capital” and states “you cannot lose more than 10% of your starting balance.” Checked 10 September 2026. Read the Amplify page ↗
- The token changes the drawdown limit to 5%Quoted from the platform
- The CopyX Copy Strategy dialog states, under the Community Token field: “By using a token code, your Amplify account draw down limit will change to 5% of your starting balance”. So the token that doubles trading capacity also halves the loss that closes the account. Our capture is dated 7 September 2026 and is reproduced from a partner presentation rather than taken by us — weaker than a firsthand capture, and we would rather say so. See the capture and the arithmetic
- The same dialog also says 10%Unresolved contradiction
- Three lines above the token note, the same screen says the account is liquidated if the manager loses more than 10% of the starting balance. We cannot tell you which threshold governs a live 24x account, and we are not going to guess in the direction that suits us. Get it in writing from the provider before you enter a token.
- 24x is still not documented publiclyOur own setup only
- The 24x tier used on this site comes from the publisher’s own account, reached with the community token in step 8 of the guide. A line of text inside a dialog is not a published tier document: eligibility, charges, withdrawal conditions and the treatment of open positions remain undocumented on the provider’s public pages. Treat 24x as unconfirmed for your account until the provider tells you otherwise in writing.
- The performance figuresDated snapshot, not live
- The gain and drawdown on this site come from one dated capture of the public Myfxbook page for the strategy’s master account, taken 9 September 2026. It is a snapshot, not a feed, and it is the strategy’s own account rather than a follower’s. The live page is public, so you can compare it against ours at any time. Open the live record ↗
- The operating entity is on the FSC registerRetrieved from the register
We searched the FSC’s public Register of Licensees by name for “t.m. financials ltd” on 14 September 2026. One result. The entry reads:
- Name of Licensee
- T.M. Financials Ltd
- Date of registration
- 28/03/2024
- Type of Licence
- SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting)
- Licensee Status
- COMPANY IS INCORPORATED
- Annotations
- None
Two things in that entry are worth reading rather than skimming. The licence type is a full service dealer excluding underwriting — dealing is covered, underwriting is not. And the entry is administered under a management company, AAcapital International Limited, so the email and telephone shown on the register belong to that company rather than to the broker. Both are ordinary for a Mauritius entity; neither is a problem in itself.
- The licence number, and the link to Tag MarketsStill their statement
The register entry does not display a licence number. So GB21026474 — which Tag Markets publishes and which we repeat in our own footer — is not corroborated by the register. What the register corroborates is the entity, the registration date, the licence type, and the absence of annotations against it.
The entry also lists no website. Nothing on the regulator’s record ties T.M. Financials Ltd to tagmarkets.com; that connection rests entirely on what Tag Markets says about itself. Before you deposit, read the client agreement you are actually signing and check that the entity named in it is the entity on the register. That is the one check nobody can do for you.
One more piece of care: “Company is incorporated” is a status field about the company. It is not the register saying a licence is currently active, and an empty annotations field is encouraging rather than conclusive.
- What the register does not tell youScope of the check
- A current licence says a regulator has authorised an activity. It says nothing about whether a strategy will make money, whether an amplified account suits you, or how quickly withdrawals clear. It also does not bring EU or UK investor protection with it — see the row below. Treat the register check as a floor, not a recommendation. What Tag Markets states · Search the register yourself ↗ · The provider’s own statement ↗
- That it is an “A-book” brokerNot confirmed
- Partner material describes Tag Markets as an A-book broker — meaning it passes orders to the market and earns from spread and commission, rather than taking the other side of your trade. If true it matters, because a B-book broker books your loss as its own revenue. We have not found this in the provider’s own terms, and a claim about order routing made in recruitment material is not evidence of order routing. Ask which model applies to your account type. What the two models mean
- The $1,000,000 insuranceProvider statement, narrow scope
- Tag Markets states insolvency cover of up to $1,000,000, which partner material attributes to Lloyd’s of London. Read the scope before you read the number: the provider’s own wording is “for all claimants”, an aggregate pool rather than a per-customer guarantee, it is triggered by insolvency of the operating entity, and it covers none of what actually costs people money here — trading losses, drawdown and liquidation. It is not deposit protection and not a statutory compensation scheme. Full wording and caveats
- EU protection does not applyStated by the provider
- Tag Markets states it is not authorised or regulated by an EU authority. EU investor-protection and compensation schemes therefore do not cover money held there, whichever licence applies. Full notice

02What we have not confirmed
What we have not confirmed
Saying this plainly is the whole point of the page.
- That any figure on this site will resemble your result. A master-account record is not a follower’s outcome, for the four reasons set out on the overview.
- That the 24x tier is available to you. The 5% drawdown limit is quoted from the platform dialog, but eligibility, charges and withdrawal conditions for that tier are not published anywhere we can point you to.
- Which of the two loss thresholds printed on the Copy Strategy dialog — 10% or 5% — actually governs a live account.
- The monthly return series on the overview. Those figures come from the partner presentation, not from the public record, and we have not reconciled them against it.
- That the licence number Tag Markets publishes is the one attached to that register entry, or that the entity on the register is the entity on your client agreement. The register shows neither a licence number nor a website.
- Processing times for verification, deposits or withdrawals. These are set by the provider and vary by region and payment method; we do not publish figures we cannot source.
- Anything about the strategy’s method beyond what its public page states. We have not audited it and could not.
03What a sceptical search turns up
What a sceptical search will turn up
If you search the company name alongside words like “scam” or “review”, you will find critical write-ups as well as promotional ones, some of it from sites that cover multi-level marketing. We have not verified those claims and are not in a position to referee them — we take a commission on registrations, which makes us the wrong judge.
What we would say instead: read them, read the provider’s own terms, check the register, and decide with money you can afford to lose entirely. A guide that told you the criticism did not exist would be worth less than one that points you at it.
Our conflict of interest, stated plainly
GoldCopyGuide earns a commission when someone registers through the links here. That does not change your price or terms, and it does not make this page neutral. Weigh it accordingly. Full affiliate disclosure

Corrections are welcome and get made. If a source we cite has changed, if a figure here no longer matches the live one, or if you have documentation that contradicts something above, send it and we will update the page and the date on it. Every displayed figure has a matching entry in this site’s source register, so a correction is traceable rather than quietly overwritten.
